A seasoned real estate professional and custom home builder since 1975, Walt has been proudly licensed in Michigan and Florida (and once upon a time, Illinois too). His passion for real estate was born from a simple truth: he couldn’t find anyone to build a home the way he wanted — so he did it himself. That same standard of excellence has guided his career ever since.

Specializing in high-end, custom homes — not production builds — Walt’s work reflects attention to detail and a drive to stay current with evolving technologies and design trends. Whether he’s walking clients through the purchase of their dream home or evaluating raw land with the precision of an appraiser and the heart of a builder, Walt leads with honesty, education, and a touch of humor.

He believes the best real estate experiences are built on relationships — though he’ll be the first to tell you that buyers and sellers alike can test even a saint’s patience. Still, his commitment to guiding people home never wavers.

Outside of real estate, Walt is an active community member and philanthropist. He supports local organizations including Rotary, Kiwanis, and the Philharmonic, and has been known to host the occasional fundraiser (and perhaps more than the occasional dinner party). In fact, he co-founded a cooking club in 2000, though he claims his “drinking club” began much earlier — in 1942.

A proud father, grandfather, and soon-to-be great-grandfather, Walt’s proudest titles still come from his family. In his free time, you’ll find him cruising the globe, exploring Europe, or planning his next adventure. Just don’t expect him to wear salmon-colored skinny jeans while doing it.
